HIGH SCHOOL PREPARATION

Our Preparation for High School course prepares students to go on to a secondary level of education, whether it be: public or private high school, public technical college or a private vocational college.

Sample Timetable

9.00am-11.00am THEME
Lesson Focus on Listening, Speaking, Vocabulary & Grammar based around useful themes such as Health, Culture, Education etc

11.10am-12.10pm GENRE
Lesson Focus on Reading and Writing based around topic areas such as Essay Writing, Newspaper Articles, Giving Speeches etc

12.10pm-1.00pm Lunch

1.00pm-3.00pm PREPARATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL
Lesson Focus on the language in a variety of subjects: Mathematics, Science, Business Studies, Geography, Computer Studies, Literature, History, Art, and Academic Reading, Writing and Study Skills.

Students are given research assignments, diary work and regular homework.

Start dates: New students start every Monday.

If a student is at a Beginner or Elementary level, they will need to complete a certain amount of the General English course before being assessed as ready to join the Preparation for High School course.
