SURF AND STUDY

MEC partners with a specialist surf tour company, Surfstay, to provide the surfing student with the perfect introduction to surfing in Australia. Our course is designed for surfers who simply want to find the best conditions available every day. With many of Australia’s top surfers coming from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Surfstay is dedicated to taking you to the best possible waves and then will take you to school to learn English.

You can choose to study in the morning and surf in the afternoon or surf in the morning and study in the afternoon. You will discover and explore all the best breaks on the Northern Beaches. You will be picked up in Manly or Dee Why and be taken in Surfstay’s surf bus to the best waves within an hours drive. You will surf for 2- 3 hours then be returned to Manly or Dee Why. There is plenty of choice, our local beaches include: Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why, Long Reef, Collaroy, Narrabeen, Turrimetta, Warriewood, Mona Vale, Avalon, Newport and Palm Beach.

After you’ve found all the best spots you can simply continue your English course and surf at your favourite breaks in your own time. To explore further afield and escape the weekend crowds you can then join one of our fully catered, all inclusive weekend surf camping trips that will take you to the lesser known and quieter North and South Coasts to enjoy the stunning scenery and beaches.
