All MEC teachers have a university degree and further qualification in education or English language teaching. Whilst our teachers are mostly from Australia, some are also from other English speaking countries such as New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
MEC endeavours to maintain a range of ages and experience in our teaching staff as well as equal numbers of male and female so that students will hear a range of spoken voices and be introduced to people from different backgrounds.
MEC teachers have experience in teaching students of all ages from all over the world. Our teachers understand the different needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Teachers are selected to teach at MEC if they can present an interesting and useful lesson, care about the students and their progress and are friendly and helpful to the students.
