If you want to get a part-time job (students on student visas can’t work more than 20 hours per week) you must get work permission from:

Then after you receive an email from DIMIA, you can go into their office to get your new visa.
Tax File Number

Finding work
You can find a job by
- asking students and businesses in the area
- looking in the Manly Daily Newspaper Classified sections, especially on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Resume and References
If you want to find a job in Australia, it is important to have a one-page resume (C.V.) and personal and work references translated into English.
